#10. Get a Makeover

An extreme makeover doesn’t have to happen in the confines of a network TV show. Anyone can do it with a
trip to the salon. Get a completely new hairstyle, get a manicure, and maybe some makeup tips, all for under a
hundred bucks. Is that too much to pay for a whole new you?









#9. Tan Yourself

Yeah, yeah, this goes against every doctor’s advice in the entire planet. The truth is, put on a decent suncreen
and get under those lamps/sun. Don’t overdo it. It’s the burn that puts you at risk for the big C later on down
the line. If you go to a responsible tanning salon, they should put you on a program that will gradually increase
your minutes as the days go by, thus making your transition into bronze bombshell smooth and painless.
Alternatively, you could always go the sunless tanning route, but be prepared to spend some money if you
want to avoid the orange goblin.






















#8 Quit Your Vices

Easier said than done, of course, but it’s an important one. Put down the cigarettes, quit drinking yourself into
oblivion every night (or even every weekend), just say no, ha ha. Putting an end to old habits is one of the
hardest things for the human animal to accomplish, and that precisely why it’s so important. Besides the health
benefits inherent in quitting something that’s bad for you, you will feel an overwhelming sense of
empowerment should you succeed. And you CAN succeed. As Anthony Hopkins says in “The Edge”, “What one
man can do, another can do.”







#7  Sleep

Right, everyone knows this, why is it on the list? Well, if you’re anything like the majority of Americans, you
simply aren’t getting enough. I can’t tell you what IS enough, either. Each person is different, and it changes
for each person depending on what they’re doing in their lives. Go to bed one hour earlier starting tonight. See
how you feel in the morning. Just try it.











#6. Go Shopping

Well, this speaks for itself, and since this is a list about LOOKING better as well as feeling better, then we’re
talking mostly clothing here. You don’t have to go wild; one new dress might be all you need to hold your head
up a little higher.







#5. Go Outside

You’ve got your new dress, you’re well rested, you’ve quit your nasty habits, you’ve got a tan, and you’re
sporting a brand new hairstyle. Now get outside and mess it all up. No, really. Go for a run around a lake. A
walk through the woods. A swim in the ocean, if you’re lucky enough to live by one. A lot of people forget the
simple pleasures of the outdoors in today’s America. Start taking the time to remember and I promise you’ll be
the better for it.






#4.  Buy The Movie Star Diet

Yeah, it’s cheesy to throw a plug in halfway through the list, but hey. The fact is, I’m proud of this book, and I
have 100% confidence that it belongs in the posession of every household in America. Follow the plan in this
book and you can have the body you always dreamed of. Just think about it for a minute. Really think about it.
Think about how long you’ve fantasized about being thin, getting ripped, having a physique others are jealous
of. Now think about what it would be like to stop fantasizing and start having. Riches, fame, the perfect
partner. You can work for these your whole life and never get them. The perfect body is achievable no matter
who you are.






#3. Surround Yourself With Friends (but not all the time)  

Friends can keep you from feeling lonely and depressed, can pick you up when you’re down (if they’re good
friends) and, of course, lend you money (pay those people back!). But the parenthetical part of this one is just
as important. If you want to do great things with your life, occassionally, it has to be YOUR LIFE. Don’t be
afraid to spend time alone. Amazing things can happen when you just sit and. . .dream.







#2. Learn Something

When you’re spending that new quality time with yourself, why not learn something new? Entire libraries (not
to mention an enormous internet) are filled with things YOU DON’T KNOW.  Not sure exactly what’s going on
in the middle east? There are countless sources of information to help you understand. Want to know how to
repair your car. It can be learned. What one man can do, another can do.








#1. Start Being Positive

If you’ve completed steps 10-2, then this one should be a breeze. Nothing breeds positivity like success. There
is nothing on this list even remotely impossible. Complete the list and you will feel better than you ever felt
possible. It won’t be easy, but who said anything in life was easy?
